Job description

Emerald Green Media Ltd, the team behind Ireland Before You Die (IB4UD) and Meanwhile in Ireland, is seeking a Content Creator to join our growing team.

In this role, you’ll gain invaluable experience in the world of content creation and social media, working alongside seasoned professionals.

You’ll have the opportunity to: Develop captivating content for our social media channels, tailoring it to each platform’s unique audience and style.

Analyse social media trends and audience insights to ensure content resonates and drives engagement.

Track and interpret key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure content success and inform future strategies.

Collaborate with our team to ensure brand consistency and messaging across all social media platforms..

Responsibilities

• Develop and curate high-quality content for various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube).
• Utilise your smartphone and camera skills to capture engaging video and photo content.
• Edit content using appropriate software to ensure a professional and polished look.
• Collaborate closely with the marketing team to align content with promotional campaigns and brand messaging.
• Implement Social Media SEO best practices to optimise content for search and drive traffic to our website.
• Analyse social media performance metrics and use insights to inform and refine content strategies.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and industry news to ensure content remains fresh and relevant.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills:

• Highly motivated and eager to learn.
• Understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Tiktok, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube) and their unique content formats.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Creativity and a passion for developing engaging content.
• Proficiency in video and photo editing software.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret social media data.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Photoshop, Canva).
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment or small business.
• Video production experience.

Further Information

The Employer is: EMERALD GREEN MEDIA LTD. Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended, and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer.
