Emerald Green Media Ltd is a digital media company that owns several influential websites, including Ireland Before You Die and Meanwhile in Ireland.

These websites began as far back as 2014, but Emerald Green Media was founded in 2019 to bring them all under one company.

Ireland Before You Die (IB4UD) is our main website, and it is Ireland’s most popular independent travel and culture website.

Meanwhile in Ireland is one of Ireland’s biggest culture and satirical news websites.

We are recruiting a Freelance Affiliate Consultant to work remotely with our team. The successful candidate will work closely with our team on an exciting mix of projects spanning a variety of digital channels.

Responsibilities

As a Freelance Affiliate Consultant, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Affiliate Programme Optimisation:

• Conduct a thorough analysis of our existing affiliate programme for travel websites.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in terms of structure, incentives, and overall effectiveness.

2. Conversion Rate Enhancement:

• Develop and implement strategies to increase affiliate conversion rates.
• Analyse user behaviour, sales funnels, and landing pages to optimise the customer journey.

3. Affiliate Recruitment and Engagement:

• Identify and recruit new affiliates to expand our network.
• Implement engagement strategies to foster strong relationships with existing affiliates.

4. Performance Tracking and Reporting:

• Implement tracking mechanisms to monitor affiliate performance.
• Provide regular reports on key performance indicators and actionable insights for improvement.

5. Strategy Development:

• Work closely with the marketing team to align affiliate strategies with overall business goals.
• Develop and execute innovative strategies to enhance the impact of the affiliate programme.

6. Stay Updated on Industry Trends:

• Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the affiliate marketing space.
• Implement best practices to ensure our programme remains competitive and cutting-edge.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven experience in optimising affiliate programmes for travel websites.
• Knowledge of strategies to increase conversion rates and engage affiliates effectively.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Contract Details

• Freelance position, with a minimum commitment of 14 hours per week.
• Ability to work remotely from anywhere in the world.
