The shops of two of Emerald Green Media’s websites – Ireland Before You Die and Meanwhile in Ireland – are gearing up for a busy Christmas period as customers order their unique stock in greater numbers than ever.
To kick off the Christmas shopping season, the shops have revealed huge Black Friday plans, including incredible discounts and bespoke services.
2023 saw the advent of the Meanwhile in Ireland shop. What began with a clothing collaboration with Belfast busker and TikTok star, Jelvis Pelvis, soon developed into a well-stocked shop full of clothing, jewellery, and art.
This unbridled growth, including the introduction of an Etsy shop, saw the Meanwhile in Ireland team recognised for its efforts with a nomination for the Startup Website of the Year award at this year’s Irish eCommerce Awards.
Though the team narrowly missed out, the proof of its success is in the pudding as sales numbers grow week after week.
The Ireland Before You Die Shop was launched at the same time as the Meanwhile in Ireland Shop, but while the latter focuses on Irish popular culture and craic, the former specialises in showcasing Ireland as a visitor destination.
As such, Ireland Before You Die’s shop sells everything from eBook travel guides to clothing and prints inspired by Ireland’s top attractions, such as the Cliffs of Moher and the Wild Atlantic Way. Stock also includes beautiful original artwork by Irish artist Kathryn Callaghan.
The distinction between the two shops is a testament to the Emerald Green Media team’s knowledge of each target audience. However, one area in which the two shops converge is jewellery.
Each shop sells a number of rings, including the best-selling Irish Claddagh Ring and the exquisite Open Hand Heart Ring, alongside a range of both subtle and statement necklaces that celebrate Irish culture.
With prices between £6.99 and £24.99, the shops already offered tasteful Irish jewellery at a bargain price, but with the Black Friday sale, those prices are set to become even more appealing!
From Black Friday (24 November) to 1 December, customers can avail of a 50% discount on all jewellery items.
Moreover, a gift-wrapping service is available, and customers who leave a review will benefit from 20% off their next purchase!
